Abstract

Digitalisation has dramatically changed the way companies make strategic decisions, improving procedures, increasing operational efficiency and offering real-time information for greater market adaptability. This research conducts an empirical study on the effect of digitalisation on corporate decision-making, assessing its impact on competitiveness and organisational management. The method used combines a quantitative and qualitative perspective based on questionnaires to executives and the study of data from companies that have implemented digital strategies. The findings indicate that entities with a high level of digitalisation exhibit a greater ability to react to market variations and an increase in operational efficiency. It follows that digitalisation is a crucial element in the planning strategy and its gradual incorporation into all phases of decision-making is recommended.
